DISCLAIMER: AUTEMS (Autism Emergency Services) was created to build recognition and support among emergency responders for autistic individuals and their allies. This initiative began in New York State, where awareness and recognition is steadily growing through local outreach and word of mouth. As the project expands, broader support across other states is planned, beginning with small steps and community partnerships. Customers are encouraged to check with their local emergency services to see if the AUTEMS symbol is recognized and supported in their area.
