Caillebotte Paris in rainy weather 1877

Designs inspired by a 19th century painting of Paris by Gustave Caillebotte (Rue de Paris, temps de pluie, 1877). It's raining, the cobblestones are wet and shiny. People appear to hurry rather than stroll through the streets, shielded by their umbrellas. In the foreground is a fashionable middle class couple, walking arm in arm. If the painting makes you think of a photo, you would not be the first one to notice. Gustave Caillebotte took an early interest in the art of photography, and techniques like 'cropping' and 'zooming-in' are commonly found in his works. As of now, the collection contains two card designs (folded card, postcard) and two posters (smaller and larger).
