Cinderella by Jenny Nyström

Designs inspired by a charming fairy tale illustration by Swedish artist Jenny Nyström (Askepott / Cinderella, circa 1890). The picture shows Cinderella, with golden curls and her dress in rags, sitting in front of the fireplace. A flock of birds is helping her with the task her stepmother has given her, to pick lentils out of the ashes and put them in a pot.
