Cockspur Lighthouse Beach Wedding -CEmpire

Cockspur Lighthouse is an old, small, historic lighthouse about 12 miles east of the port of Savannah, Georgia. It's one of the smallest in Georgia, and marked the Savannah River channel prior to 1909. This lighthouse was once occupied, but now sits on an oyster bed with a little bit of marsh grass, where the high tide waters will cover that today. Amazingly it was not destroyed in the civil war as it sat in between a Union encampment on Tybee Island and Fort Pulaski which is actually on Cockspur Island.
