Dry Tortugas National Park, located about 70 miles west of Key West, Florida, was established in 1992 and is renowned for its pristine waters, coral reefs, and historical significance. The park’s centerpiece is Fort Jefferson, a massive 19th-century coastal fortress surrounded by turquoise waters and abundant marine life. Visitors can also enjoy snorkeling and diving to explore vibrant coral reefs, birdwatching at Bush Key, and soaking in the natural beauty of the remote islands that make up the park.
