Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Flames)

As listed in Isaiah 11:2-3, the Catholic Church recognizes seven gifts of the Holy Spirit: Wisdom, Knowledge, Counsel, Fortitude, Understanding, Piety, and Fear of the Lord. According to the Catechism, Confirmation bestows on confirmands the graces of the Holy Spirit that were granted to the Apostles on Pentecost Sunday--the very first Confirmation. + The Confirmation items in this series feature tongues of fire or flame with inscribed white banderoles or ribbons: a larger flame for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit in general surrounded by 7 smaller flames, each devoted to one of them. Other products feature flames with white banderoles or ribbons that can be personalized. Still others have just a simple flame pattern.
