International Migrants Day. 18 December is set aside to recognize the important contribution of migrants to the economies and societies of their host and home countries, and to advocate for their rights and dignity. Th aim is for migrants to enjoy, safe migration, regular migration and orderly migration at all times. Migrants are often refugees from war-torn countries.
