Jenny Nyström, Tomte and sweet little Lucia girl

Designs inspired by a beautiful Christmas picture by Swedish artist Jenny Nyström (1854-1946). The picture shows a Christmas brownie, a tomte, with red conical cap and a long beard, who is carrying a little girl in his arms. The girl is dressed as Lucia, she's wearing a white gown and a lit candle crown. Bringing light in the dark time of winter, Lucia plays an important role especially in Scandinavian Christmas celebrations.
