John Singer Sargent

John Singer Sargent was a leading portrait painter and watercolorist and one of the most prolific artists of the Post-Impressionist era with about 900 oil paintings and over 2000 watercolors. Sargent traveled extensively in Europe, the Middle East and America and painted landscapes and domestic scenes where ever he went.
