Kurukulla from Tibetan Buddhism
Kurukulla is often equated with Red Tara, although many representations of Kurukulla differ from representations of Red Tara. She is also considered a Buddhist dakini from the land of Uddiyana, and a goddess. She represents the love power of the Bodhisattva Tara and is known in the myths for her ability to enchant beings, pacify recalcitrant enemies and draw them to her side. Therefore she is revered as an aspect of love. In Nepal she is the goddess of shamans.
