President Herbert Hoover Tariffs

Mmmmm Tariffs. Those scrumptious tariffs that works so well for President Herbert Hoover in the early 1930’s. You remember the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act. That’s the one credited with driving us into the Great Depression. World trade plummeted. Unemployment jumped to 25%. And… here we are again with massive tariffs on our trading partners. Can this possibly end well?
