Historic gun battery at Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia remains open to visitors except for the inside and some of the exterior that is badly rusted. These areas are chained off to prevent entry. Off limits and authorized personnel only signs are prominently posted. The aging structure has created an interesting rustic scene with blends of colors that are very photographic suitable for printing on a variety of products.
