Starburst Mandala - 2019

One of the first of the new class of mandalas of 2019, this soft and beautiful grey and gold mandala design introduced a new series of mandalas continuing into the new decade and beyond. The wavy lines and flame tips all made me think of a supernova in birth, or the way a star will twinkle in the night sky. It seemed to have radiance, and movement even though it was just the smaller outer details.
