The cat's pajamas Funny vintage Christmas

Inspired by a vintage postcard featuring a cat wearing a pair of pajamas. The cat seems to be in a very cheerful mood (tipsy perhaps), and the accompanying text reads: Here's hoping your CHRISTMAS will be THE CAT'S PAJAMAS! The phrase 'the cat's pajamas' became popular in the U.S. in the 1920. This was the jazz era, marked by a general feeling of novelty and break with tradition. Young women, called flappers or cats, started to wear short skirts and bobbed their hair. Pajamas for women was another new and interesting phenomenon. Thus 'the cat's pajamas' became a phrase to describe somehing highly sought-after and desirable. As of now, there are three Christmas greeting cards (2 postcards, 1 folded card) and a Christmas gift tag. Vintage postcard re-restored in September 2020.
