The Scream by Edvard Munch

Munch's The Scream is an icon of modern art, a Mona Lisa for our time. There are two versions of The Scream. In what he referred to as his "soul painting," Edvard Munch reveals an honest glimpse of the inner troubles and feelings of anxiety that fed his creative work, giving birth to an art style that would later be known as Expressionism.
