World Tourism Day. 27 September is set aside to redefine and recalibrate world tourism following Covid19. Its mission is to promote tourism as a driver of economic growth, inclusive development and environmental sustainability and offers leadership and support to the sector in advancing knowledge and tourism policies worldwide. Themes such as tourism and peace, sustainable tourism, sustainable tourism and investment in tourism have been prominent.
