Parnelli Jones Helmet Perfect Poster

Print graphic depicting the personal crash helmet of the famous racing driver. Rufus Parnell "Parnelli" Jones, born 1933 Jones was named the 1961 Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the Year. In 1962, he was the first driver to qualify over 150 mph at the Indianapolis 500, winning the pole position at a speed of 150.37 mph. In the 1963 Indianapolis 500, he started on the pole and won Indy, followed by Jim Clark on second place. Jones won the 1963 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, and broke the stock car speed record. Later he had major wins in the 1973 season. He won his second Mexican 1000 in 16 hours and 42 minutes. He also won the 1973 Baja 500 and Mint 400 off-road events. Jones retired with six IndyCar wins, twelve pole positions and four wins in 34 NASCAR starts. This great helmet design was patterned from the beautiful paint scheme used on "Ol’ Calhoun", Parnelli’s Watson Roadster, in wich he won the 1963 Indianapolis 500.
