Falls The Sun Briefkaart
Falls The Sun
Forgive me. It will not happen again.
Now I would like
meditate, collect myself, forget: be
sheet of oblivion and loneliness.
The wind would have been necessary
that spreads the scales of autumn
with rumour and colour.
The wind would have been necessary.
I speak with humility,
with disappointment, gratitude
of him who lived from the alms of life.
With the sadness of those who search
a poor truth to lean on and rest on.
The almsgiving was beautiful - beings, dreams, events, love -
free gift, because I deserved nothing.
And the truth! And the truth!
Searched by blows, in beings,
hurting them and hurting me;
delved into the words;
dug deep into the facts
-minimal, gigantic, what does it matter:
after all, no one knows
what is small and what is enormous;
big can be called a cherry
('today the cherries fall by themselves',
They told me one day, and I know why it was),
small can be a mountain,
the universe and love.
I had forgotten something
that had happened.
Something I regretted
or, perhaps, I was boasting.
Something that should have been different.
something that was important
because it belonged to my life: it was my life.
(Forgive me if I consider my life important:
It's all I have, what I had;
a long time ago, I would have lived it
in the dark, without tongue, without ears, without hands,
hanging in the void,
hopeless.)
But it has been erased
history (nostalgia)
and I have no projects
for tomorrow, I don't even think
May that tomorrow exist (hope).
I walk through the present
and I don't live in the present
(fullness in pain and joy).
I look like an exile
who has forgotten even the name of his country,
its precise location, the roads,
that lead to it.
Forgive me that I need
Find out its exact location.
And when I know where I lost it,
I want to offer you my banishment, what it's worth
as much as life for me, which is its meaning.
And then, sad, but firm,
forgive me, I will offer you a life
no longer demon or hallucinations.

Briefkaart, Maat: Standaard Briefkaart, Papier: Signature Mat, Enveloppen: Geen
It's a nice picture, however it doesn't touch the edges of the card. Plus, the cut after print is done poorly. It's printed nicely, but the finish isn't good
