Moeder en dochter - Art Nouveau Briefkaart
This is a detail of the cover art for the 1896 No. 40 issue of Jugend Magazine, the famous German weekly edition century that launched the German Art Nouveau movement known as "Jugendstilet", which means "youth style". The magazine was started in 1896 by journalist George Hirth, one of the most invloeential thinkers in München at the turn of the 19th century. It was widely popular and featured the key artists of the Art Nouveau era. This beautiful decorative image shows a mother and her daughter. The artist is J.R. Witzel. This has been restored by us. It has been retouched where faded, and coñhave been enhanced to the way we denke it originally looked.

It's a nice picture, however it doesn't touch the edges of the card. Plus, the cut after print is done poorly. It's printed nicely, but the finish isn't good
