St. Genevieve was a 5th century consecrated virgin at a young age and is one of the two patron saints of Paris. Miracles and healings began to happen around her early on. She became known for her piety, healings and miracles. Her prayers saved Paris from being destroyed by the Huns under Attila in 451 and other wars; her organization of the city's women was called a prayer marathon and the saint's most famous feat.
