Stirling Moss Helmet Perfect Poster

Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss (Order of the British Empire) 1929 — 2020 Moss won 212 of the 529 races he entered across several categories of competition and has been described as "the greatest driver never to win the World Championship". In a seven-year span between 1955 and 1961 Moss finished as championship runner-up four times and in third place the other three times. In 1955 Moss won Italy's thousand-mile Mille Miglia road race, an achievement, described as the "most iconic single day's drive in motor racing history. He was paired with motor racing jour-nalist Denis Jenkinson, who prepared pace note for Moss, and the two completed the race in ten hours and seven minutes. Motor Trend head-lined it as "The Most Epic Drive. Ever.
Stirling Moss bought this Corker-style helmet, made by Everoak, in the 19505 from the milliner Herbert Johnson with a white polished shell, soft lining and hand-sewn adjustable leather straps.
