Pierre, who is also known by the surname "Tha Southern Supastar", is a rapper as well as a spoken word poet. As the only son of Haitian immigrants, his parents viewed hip hop as loud, abrasive, demeaning, & violent. So they tried to steer Pierre away from this sub-culture of urban America. However nothing could keep him away from this art form that he loved so much. Pierre was born & raised in Boynton Beach Florida with his 4 sisters. His mother migrated to America in 1976 and his father followed shortly after. He began listening to hip hop at the tender age of 6 and began penning his own rhymes at 12. Some of His early favorites were 2pac, snoop, & Ice cube, just to name a few. Upon losing many friends & family to gun violence & imprisonment, Pierre decided to make a change.
