In the 1970's Paul Samuels and Arlene Bridges met and fell in love in Atlanta GA. Not satisfied with city life, they left their jobs seeking an idyllic life on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, at the time a one - stoplight paradise. Island breezes and beauty nourished Paul’s poetry and Arlene’s calligraphy giving birth to a line of greeting cards “words that paint a thousand pictures!” which grew in popularity in the Christian and College book store market. In later years, they turned their lives to the world’s poor living aboard a ship of hope with Mercy Ships https://bit.ly/2WR9pwm . During this season in their lives, they adopted two precious babies, a son from Charleston, SC and a daughter from Romania. Both now grown, the empty nest has returned Paul and Arlene to sharing their creativity once again. Arlene is a “blogger” for the Times of Israel https://bit.ly/2BmFq8U and writes for CBN, as well as her devotional blog at Facebook https://bit.ly/2SnqAqL Paul is updating his greeting cards with his the fantastic Hilton Head Island seascapes of his BFF photographer Ned McNair
