I wanted to create art that merges my love of film, music, and horror, lifestyle and literature—art that captures the feeling of a lost time, dark moods and the quiet optimism we all search for. My work draws heavily on nostalgia and vintage aesthetics, blending retro Japanese pop art, often overlooked; with elements of my own cultural heritage and the atmosphere I grew up in. Southern California plays a central role in shaping this visual language. From the hazy dusk of driving through Los Angeles, to the warm, western tones of the desert, to the foggy mornings along the coast; these places live in the textures, colors, and moods of the work. At its core, the goal is simple: to evoke a feeling. A sense of place, time, and memory; familiar yet distant, optimistic at time with a touch of darkness. We hope the art speaks to anyone, anywhere, who’s ever longed for something just out of reach but beautifully unforgettable.
