Strudwick Golden days CC0567 Perfect Poster
John Melhuish Strudwick (1849-1937) In the golden days. John Melhuish Strudwick was a Pre-Raphaelite painter of the Victorian era. He was inspired by Edward Burne-Jones and also worked as his studio assistant in the 1870s. Another source of inspiration was the lapidary technique from the Italian quattrocento. His paintings were done in a blend of Renaissance and medieval styles, with meticulous attention to detail, especially in his treatment of draperies and accessories, leading to a very small output. He employed rich, deep colours. This painting shows three beautiful young women that are making music together.

Creator beoordeling
The stickers were fine, as expected. The posters came out well, also nicely packaged, and the good colors. Only the paper was slightly thinner than expected, and therefore a bit vulnerable.
