COSMIC 1 (GEOPRISM) Poster

I began this painting as an inspired idea to make something large and valuable, as well as for a change in pace and scale as I had prior to this been drawing in prismacolor pencils live on my Twitch channel which you can find here. jameswhitleyart - Twitch Although I haven't captured the creation of every nook and cranny (as I was trying to get it done without the distraction of others at the time) I've recorded most of the process of its creation and have created some video callages of the process. In the future I plan to go much further into depth with the process I use and inspirations an mindsets but for now check out the videos I have posted here! James Whitley Art - YouTube My mindset going in was I wanted something that had a big wow factor. I am finding that it is the effect I want to to have on my myself that drives a good portion of the creative process and focus. I am in a phase of building and have finally reached a very awesome point in my journey. This piece represents a personal victory and huge personal accomplishment as I have finally conquered many of the personality qualities that have held me back in the past. This took me exactly 15 days and a lot of experimentation, determination and near non-stop painting, I'm not kidding! I plan to continue with this amazing creative journey and could use a boost from those who recognize what I have to offer and would like to participate early on in my inevitable expansion which is currently under way. I am building my career now with a stong and determined mind and am so grateful for all who would like to help me build this thing big by helping me get a good start on my patreon page.
