On September 8th 2014, Milissa was involved in an accident which resulted in Traumatic Brain Injury. On March 10th, 2015, Milissa did her first painting. Her painting abilities and photography skills came as a result of that injury since Milissa has never received any professional lessons. Armed with 5 student grade paint brushes and her husband's old paint scraper she creates beautiful art; and with just her Apple IPad Air she is able to take breath taking photos.
