THANK YOU FOR VISITING. At a young age,a love of the outdoors and a talent for drawing pictures was the starting point that lead Don Benson to eventually painting wildflowers. He has worked in the landscape maintenance industry (green Industry) for over 38 years, maintaining commercial, industrial parks and residential homes. Being around such colorful landscapes inspired him to paint wildflowers. Don trained at William Rainey Harper College in Palatine, Illinois in the Horticulture and Parks Management program.Through the years he has worked for some local and national landscape companies, who created some breathtaking flower designs and landscape installations. With a love of plants,flowers and the outdoors, the passion for painting wildflowers grew. Don paints colorful wildflowers with acrylics. His collection includes greeting cards, note cards, prints,& wooden plaques.
