I have been quilting for more than 20 years. I am a naturalist and environmentalist at heart. I have a certificate in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and exposure to the earth images in different ways by modern technology beckoned my artistic side. My current body of work explores satellite imagery and creating ‘false-color’ artistic depictions of remote sensed satellite images. The vivid colors and their outstanding variations are what first drew me to these representations of these particular incredible earthscapes.
