Greeting cards are thoughtful keepsakes to celebrate life’s occasions. Not only do they recognize major milestones, but they illustrate the little moments that are equally as important. Many of our ideas come from the awkward situations, sadness, embarrassing moments and common truths of everyday life. My friend, Tereissa, has lupus and she is the one that inspired me to produce my card line. One day she said, “I may have lupus but it doesn’t have me. If I don’t do something, I get depressed.” Her words were so heart felt. At that moment I realized that I wanted to do something for people with a serious illness or grief. My mission is to take part in making the world a better place one card at a time.
