Simply summed up my artistic view is about "Taking time to smell the roses." An admirable notion, but as a practice for everyday living, not necessarily an easy thing to accomplish. For me making art is one of the vehicles I use to pursue this notion. If you don't experience each day with an open heart, open mind and open eyes, you'll miss out on what it has to offer.
