MarysKloset

The images used in MarysKloset are derived from the artist's personal collection of antique postcards and photographs. The majority of the images are over 100 years old. The photos are collected from around the world from various locations including but not limited to Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Israel, Portugal, Japan, England, and the United States. Most of the postcards are postmarked between 1901-1910. The images are digitally enhanced by using Photoshop and iPhoto software. Each piece is digitally cleaned and dust, foxing, silvering and scratches are removed to enhance the image. The models (often children and pets) are rarely named. MarysKloset increases the resolution of each image to bring out details, adds color, and alters the digital image as directed by the muse of her craft. Even if the images are in the public domain the photos have been adjusted and altered by the artist to change them significantly through hours of professional application, therefore, all images are copyright by MarysKloset. They cannot legally be reproduced for public use to be sold in the marketplace without written permission. All purchased products can be resold but not reproduced for commercial use. The art is for personal use and ENJOYMENT unless previously agreed by the artist and purchasing party. So ENYOY! please.
