I have spent most of my life in the western part of Virginia in scenic surroundings, near the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Shenandoah River so it should be no surprise that I am a nature lover. I'm also interested in science fiction, fantasy, and horror. I like to focus on both natural and fantasy subjects in my art, and am most attracted to strong contrasts between dark and light. I'm married, with one daughter and one cat. Locally, I am a member of the Shenandoah Valley Watercolor Society. I also belong to several online ACEO and art groups.
