On The Radar is a weekly show dedicated to unsigned artists across the United States. It is hosted by Local Show Joe, a radio personality in Las Vegas, NV who has worked with unsigned musicians for over 8 years. He is the former host of Local 107.9, a local music specialty show on the now defunct 107.9 The Alternative (KVGS-FM). The philsophy of On The Radar is simple: To help unsigned artists gain exposure through education and promotion of the show. On The Radar can be heard every Thursday night at 8:00p.m. (Pacific Time) on www.doubledownradio.com. The show can also be downloaded through iTunes and streamed at www.ontheradarshow.com. (Note: The show may not be immediately available on iTunes or the website. It could take up to 48 hours) In addition to the weekly show, www.ontheradarshow.com is available for news regarding bands featured on the show, CD reviews, music videos, upcoming concerts, and social media tips & tricks bands can utilize to better market themselves. While the show is based out of Las Vegas, NV and will feature many artists from that area, musicians from anywhere are encouraged to submit their music.
