Show Aloud was born inspired by the pandemic lockdown that brought masks everywhere covering our smiles. I felt the society was deprived of the source of our well-being that comes from exchanging smiles with acquaintances and strangers. I had to find ways to show or say that our smiles are still there, hidden behind the mask. Hence, the Smiley Face~~~! Everyone recognizes it and it is contagious! Added are the words around the smiley face - "hidden behind mask is my smile" and "can you see?" Since then, I recognized the need to lift up others with messages, especially our young ones who struggle with their self esteem. My thoughts then moved on to Love that binds us together, be it a couple, a family, a community, a country, or the whole world. I'd want to remain hopeful in humanity that pursues the truth and understanding that result in love, peace and joy.
