Speak the Word Declarations was launched in March of 2019 as a brand campaign by Shantel Patrice Taylor. It found its humble beginnings in the apartment the Lord provided for her in Morrow, Georgia. Driven by a call to Business, her love for God and seeing the miracle of Him completely heal and transform her life after a devastating breakup; she learned to meditate on scriptures and look to the love of Jesus as the priority in all things and her source of Hope in every area of her life. Shantel became inspired to create after having an opportunity to share her testimony and being asked how she was able to recover from heartbreak at what seemed to be an accelerated rate. God showed her how. By speaking His word over herself and learning to understand her value and identity in Christ. It's a simple yet profound solution, but it can be a challenge to commit to. The idea of speaking the Word of God over your life is not new, in fact it is a principle that can be heard in many churches you may visit or sermons you may watch and listen to online. As she pondered the question during her personal study time, the Holy Spirit revealed a gap between people who may hear the Word and never study the Bible for themselves to know what to speak and others who may be unaware of the authority they have been given by God through Christ. This is illustrated in scripture! Hosea 4.6 says "My people perish from a lack of knowledge." Proverbs 14.18 tells us "The naïve (those lacking) demonstrate a lack of wisdom, but the lovers of wisdom are crowned with revelation-knowledge." "When they understood this they were baptized into the authority of Jesus the Anointed One." -Acts 19.5 Like Shantel prior to rededicating her life to Christ, so many people in the body of Christ have power but they are not realizing how to activate it and exercise it.
