Several years ago, I went through a series of life traumas and found my peace in learning to zentangle. In June, 2019 I decided to take my zentangle practice to a new level and attended the CZT (Certified Zentangle Teacher) training course in Providence, Rhode Island, conducted by the zentangle founders Rick Roberts and Marie Thomas. After certification, I took my practice to Hirsch Wellness Network to teach workshops to cancer patients and their families. I continued to create zentangles and began to develop a unique kind of tangled multi-media art where I combine pen, water color, sometimes pastels and other mediums with zentangle patterns and real-life patterns to create pieces of art to sell. I began with zazzle when I decided to put one of my designs on a blanket as a gift. Buyers of my framed pieces of work began to suggest that I share my patterns in new ways. Today, I make healing and peaceful art available to you on all the wonderful products offered by Zazzle.com. The art will delight you because it is alive and tells stories. The stories are ever changing with new adventures arising with changing moods, seasons or days of the week. This capacity to change allows pieces to remains fresh and new. Your story may become a conversation piece as you sip coffee with a friend from a tangle treasure mug or may remain private, for you alone, as you sit nervously staring at your tennis shoes in a waiting room.
