The humble yet beautiful field poppy. For some, a symbol of remembrance tinged with sadness. For others a symbol of hope, rebirth and recovery. For us, it is most definitely the latter. In the summer of 2009 when our daughter was conceived, many of the fields near our North East Derbyshire home were awash with these resilient yet delicate and ephemeral little beauties.
